Picking the right beach for your sun-filled vacation is no small task, but it may be easier than ever this time around. Bamboo Beach Club happens to be mere blocks away from the best beach in the United States!

TripAdvisor’s 2018 Traveler’s Choice Awards ranked Clearwater Beach as the top beach in the country and also placed it in the global top 10.

Clearwater Mayor George Cretekos summed it up nicely when asked about the award by news platform Patch:

“We’ve got the best grouper sandwiches, the best sunsets and the best places to relax.”

There are many more reasons for Clearwater Beach’s popularity (pristine white sand, anyone?), one of which being the convenient shuttle service that connects the beach with downtown Clearwater.

Free Trolley Service

Because parking can get tricky at times, the Jolley Trolley is a great alternative to get around.

The bus service with the giddy name is not a new concept for Clearwater Beach. However, for the first time, riders can take a free roundtrip from the Clearwater Beach Marina to downtown. The promotion, which runs until the end of April, is meant as a “Park and Ride” initiative but is an excellent option for people who want to explore Clearwater without the hassle of driving and parking.

Jolley Trolley Routes

Even though the other three Jolley Trolley lines require a small fee, they may be useful during your stay at Bamboo Beach Club:

The North Beach Route offers service between 880 Mandalay and Island Way in the Diamond Isle district. The closest stops to Bamboo Beach Club are on the north and south side of Mandalay Park (a 5-minute walk). This route makes for a convenient way to get to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. If you would like to get to downtown, make sure to transfer to the South Beach route at the transit center. Alternatively, you can walk to the Transit Center in only 14 minutes.

The South Beach Route operates between Bay Park and downtown Clearwater. Sand Key Park, Pier 60 and the Fred Pinellas Trail are points of interest along the way.

The Coastal Route takes travelers from the Transit Center to Tarpon Springs. It’s the longest route of the Jolley Trolley system. Spend some time in Dunedin and Tarpon Springs and stop in for a drink at Marker 8 Tiki Bar, located at our  sister resort Beso del Sol Resort in Dunedin.

When you stay at Bamboo Beach Club you will have many options to get around.

Drive your car or public transit? What is your favorite mode of transportation while on vacation?
