Gasparilla Music Festival Returns to Tampa, Florida

It’s Gasparilla season in Tampa, and the Gasparilla Music Festival is one of the most anticipated parts of the festivities.

Visiting Bamboo Beach Club Resort in March is well worth your while if you want to experience a tried and true Tampa tradition.

Now in its sixth year, the Gasparilla Music Festival borrows a name from the city’s century-old Gasparilla Pirate Festival. It takes place in three parks lining the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa – Curtis Hixon Park, Kiley Gardens and Macdill Park – on March 11 and 12.

Now in its sixth year, the Gasparilla Music Festival brings a long list of stellar acts to the stages, covering a variety of musical styles. Here’s the lineup:

You can sample plenty of local fare as well. Local restaurants, caterers and vendors come together to showcase Tampa’s rich culinary history and creativity while representing our vast cultural complexity.
