We hope you’ve been finding our Bamboo Beach Club Resort blog posts interesting and informative. We just want to help you maximize your Clearwater stay in sunny Florida, after all!
Sometimes, we exceed even our own expectations and post stories that are viewed, liked, shared and commented on far more than others.
The people have spoken, and here are your favorite blog posts, revisited.
You really like your ghost stories, and I must admit, before I wrote this, I had no idea just how haunted Clearwater is (the Clearwater IHOP!?)
“You read that right. The IHOP on Highway 19 is rumored to be fraught with the unexplainable. Dark, cloaked figures brushing by cooks in the early hours of the morning, statues moving by themselves and flickering lights (when the lights are turned off) are just a few of the things employees have reported over the years. If the spirit moves you, sit down for some pancakes and see if your bacon tries to attack.”
Aw, shucks. We’re glad you think so too. There’s a lot to love at our pretty little resort.
“Everything about Bamboo Beach Club says “come on in, kick back, and feel the full Florida beach vibe”. Our newly remodeled all-suite rooms and villas surround the sparkling pool and offer a laid-back, breezy retreat in which Clearwater visitors, especially families, can stay and play.”
This brings us to the second reason Bamboo Beach Club is so great: The colorful city of Clearwater!
“When a first-time visitor and Facebook follower of Visit Clearwater asked “what is there to do in Clearwater?” the Clearwater Chamber let their loyal fans chime in with ideas. We think these are all pretty great, so we thought we’d share them with you.”

It simply isn’t a visit to Clearwater without experiencing the quirky vibe and delicious Grouper sandwiches that can only be found at Frenchy’s.
“A favorite among locals and visitors alike is Frenchy’s. Quebec native and Frenchy’s founder Michael Preston had a vision to create friendly, laid back places where people could chill with a cold drink and fresh seafood. Today, Preston has built a small empire of Frenchy’s Clearwater eateries and shops.”
From the ferry to free bikes, getting around is really fun in Clearwater. Who doesn’t want to ride something called the Jolley Trolley?
“Once you get to the mainland, the jaunty Jolley Trolley is available to take you around the sites, from shopping to restaurants and bars (it’s great if you’re going to be bar hopping and don’t want to worry about driving). It operates 7 days a week and the drivers will even point out local attractions along the way.”
