Where to Park in Clearwater Beach

It may not be the most glamorous topic we’ve blogged about, but if you’re planning to drive in or rent a car on your next visit to Clearwater Beach, knowing how to navigate the parking will be a big advantage.

A little bit of planning ahead will make your beach visit easier and allow you more time on the sand!

Unless it says “free parking”, lots are either metered or park-and-pay.

Here are some useful tips from our friends at Visit St. Petersburg/Clearwater on where to find parking and how much you’ll pay.

Find a spot north of the roundabout at the end of Memorial Causeway. While there is lots of parking south of the roundabout, this area is usually pretty congested with marina traffic. Check these out:

  • Metered lot beachside, north of Frenchy’s Rockaway Grill, around 200 spaces.
  • The Pier 60 lot ($3.00/hr.), around 139 spaces
  • Small parking lot on the corner of Devon Dr. and Hamden Dr. ($1.25/hr.)
  • Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa private parking lot with some public parking
  • Private parking lot north of the Hyatt Regency that’s open to the public between S. Gulfview Blvd. and Coronado Dr., north of Second Street.
  • Street parking: you’ll find it throughout Clearwater Beach

If you don’t mind walking a bit, here are a few more spots.

  • Small lot along the north side of the Memorial Causeway
  • Two small lots north of the Causeway, between Mandalay Ave. and Poinsetta Ave. ($1.25/hr)
  • 145-space lot at 4 Rockaway Street ($2.50/hr)
  • 79-space lot on the south side of Esplanade, east of Mandalay Avenue

However, if you decide to leave the driving to someone else, try the Suncoast Beach Trolley, the Jolley Trolley or the Clearwater Ferry (Bamboo Beach Club guests get a discount on the ferry).

We hope to see you tooling around Clearwater soon. Remember, Bamboo Beach Club Resort also has some free parking for guests.
